recording studio

Are you looking for that extra dimension that gives your music character?
You've found your destination in our vintage inspired analog recording studio located in the Netherlands.

recording room and proces

You don't need to have a big room to create a amazing recording, when you know what your doing!!
We can record straight on 8 track our 2 track, we also use Logic Pro to make it much easier and faster, especially for edits and overdubs afterwards! The mixing proces we do analog on tape. We also have a mobile setup to record on a location . On request we offer the opportunity to record in a bigger room. We don't do mastering, but we have some very good analog master engineers we can recommend.

check out our gear

Our main centerpiece of the studio is the RCA BC3 consolette. It's a full tube console from the 50ties with fantastic input and output transformers to get that nice open and warm sound... When you crank it you've got this nice tube distortion, you can hear on the early recordings from the 50ties 60ties on records from Aretha Franklin, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Little Richard, ... and many more.
We've also a bunch of old tube preamps and EQ's like Ampex, Berlant, Altec (Motown Studio's, Sun Records...). Tube tape recorders made by Studer or a vintage Tascam 8 track. We've a stock of old microphones, like the RCA44, RCA DX77, RCA junior, Coles, Shoebs tube mics, Electrovoice. All used in the famous studio's like Sun Records, early 60ties RVG studio (Blue Note), Motown Records, Chess records, Excello, where all the greats recorded, like Billy Holiday, Otis Redding, Ike Turner, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, BB King, Jimmy Reed, ...
On top of that we have a collection of vintage amps and instruments, such as  a 1964 Ludwig drumset, Gibson Lespaul Amp, 1966 Fender Deluxe reverb, a rare 1962 Ampeg super reverb, 65 Fender Showman Amp, 1973/1974 Fender Stratocasters, 1965 Gibson ES 330, 1957 Gibson ES 125, Early 50tis Kay thin twin guitar (the Jimmy Reed guitar), 1965 Fender precision bass, 1969 Fender Telecaster bass, 1968 Fender Coronado bass, 1962 H22 Harmony bass,1883 German upright bass, ... And a box full of percussion stuff. So now its up to you to just play your music...

mixing your album

Different from other recording studio's we take time for the mixing proces. We don't do the mixing in two or three days. We find it important to mix the songs and take time to listen to the tracks several times on different setups, hifi set, in the car, on our phone, computer even before we send the mixed songs to you to listen at home in your own environment to the final result. Afterwards when you've listened to the songs, you give us feedback to fine tune your album! We want you to be proud of your new album and that's how we do things right!!
